A Self-destructive Mentality

Welcome to the: You’re Not Black Enough Blog.

As black folk we have unfortunately come to believe that to “be black” is to live a life of poverty, crime, community blithe and total victim hood. This erroneous thinking has caused us to develop a "crab in the basket" tactic designed to keep progressive blacks from wanting to live up to their full potential – in order to deflect the light from shining on the large portion of black folk that can do, but won't do.

This blog, created by a back female will explore and expose through her eyes, the many ways this very destructive mentality is killing us as a people, and how it adversely affects the entire world in which we live. You probably have grasped by now that the content on this blog will in essence cut to the very core of what is ailing black folk as a people.

In other words it will embarrass some, constructively hurt some, anger most of which they will say: “you’re not better than me”, infuriate others into crying “sell out” and impulse most, to more "white people" finger pointing, yet another group will say "this is really a white persons blog". And we must not forget the notorious Jerry Springer style "you don't know me" group.

For the pseudo degreed among us, meaning those that use, having a degree to try to make others feel inadequate, so they can further delude themselves into believing that they are superior which is the tactic used to hide the fact that they too have low self-esteem.

This group suffers from "mis-educated black hypocrisy" they will address every situation by first asserting their degree-ism. As though one must have a degree to know what they are talking about, and they will always demand to see your credentials, because "unless you have a degree, you couldn't possibly know what you're talking about".

This group is quite convoluted, because they possess the intelligence to make a real difference among our people but because they believe a degree alone is the universal panacea they erroneously believe two things:

First, they can somehow escape the association of the "black plight" through their degree.

Secondly, that they couldn't possibly play a role in the problem, because they have a degree.

Another group will be highly offended because they are nothing like what is posted on this blog. Then I say to you: "join me" in exposing the stench that is killing us. And finally, the smallest group will be those that will rejoice at these postings because they feel the same way.

In the end this blog and it's content will be a catalyst to those that were unable to see what was right before their eyes. This is about healing. And just as when one's broken leg is healing the process itself does not feel good, but I doubt if anyone has ever said, "I don't want the cast put on my broken leg because healing does not feel good".

The quality of our lives as a people is contingent upon us facing these very facts about our condition. So if it causes you to experience anger, embarrassment, sadness or happiness GOOD. Because until we address the hypocrisy and the false sense of victim hood that plagues our communities we will continue to implode.

None-the-less, and without apology this blog will expose the generally unconsidered, fearfully unspoken and totally unadulterated truth.

I would like to add, that the “you’re not black enough” tactic is not just limited to the seriously impoverished. This mentality begins with generational impoverishment, and moves on to those with annual incomes into the millions. For if it were not true, we would not hear so-called black stars (Vivica Fox) saying:

“The racist cop arrested me for drunk driving because I’m black”.

Never considering the far-fetched possibility that she may have actually gotten arrested for drunk driving because she was drunk. So her arrest had nothing to do with being "black", but everything to do with her "irresponsible behavior".

To say that she was arrested because she is black is nothing more than a feigned victim game used as a smoke screen so that she can continue to destroy herself under the guise of racism. When the real issue is the reasons why she needs to be drunk in the first place, and then risk her life and the lives of others doing so, when she has more than enough money to pay a driver. Sounds like a state of self-destruction grounded in pure unhappiness, and the dangerous cry for help.

In the real world, in order to prove beyond all doubt that you were arrested for drunk driving because you are "black". Logic would demand that you would first have to NOT BE DRUNK i.e. GUILTY. It is this type of backward thinking that is killing us as a people, and this blog will courageously call out and put on the square. So as you peruse through, and post comments, keep three things in mind:

1. All Are Welcome

2. The truth may hurt, but it's the only thing that can help

3. Once the consciousness is raised, you can never go back. You can pretend to not know it, but you can never un-know it.

So Hold On, because it's time for a paradigm shift. . .

How do you "really" feel about being you?

In my opinion it is more important to like ourselves then love ourselves. Why? Because love is an emotion and is part of our emotional DNA, - therefore we all will experience love in some way no matter how distorted it may be. People that hate themselves love themselves enough to run to safety when their lives are in danger -- it's built in.

But "like" is not built-in -- it's an acquired taste, in order to "like" ourselves we must look ourselves in mirror of our lives and be completely honest about what we see, and how we feel about it. I believe, we can never truly love ourselves until we first "like" who we are as an individual person -- because "liking" who we are restores inner peace.

The journey of inner peace begins with first identifying all the things about our personal character that we do not like. So here is the exercise:

Get three sheets of paper; draw a line down the center of each one.

Sheet One
On the first sheet write this heading: "All the things I like about myself"
In the left column list all the things you like about yourself.
In the right column list all the ways you can improve them.

Sheet Two
On the second sheet write this heading: "All the things I do not like about myself"In the left column list all the things you do not like about yourself. In the right column list what you will need to do to eliminate the negative trait.

Example: Let's us a "gossiper" as our example.

The one thing all gossipers have in common is the fact that they like to talk (and that's fine) so the solution for a gossiper is not to "stop talking" because they are talkers by nature. The solution is to change from talking about a negative to talking about a positive --because that one change automatically puts you in a different class of people. Because you become a different person and people that are only interested in negativity will not be interested in talking to you (anymore) -- you just instantly improved the quality of your life by changing no one but yourself.

Sheet Three - list all the things you are grateful for.

Have a great day!
Love Ya.

The Universe's Message to you

"We are all like flowers, and are here on this planet to express our creativity. When we do, our lives are filled with ever growing passion. We blossom, thrive and grow by leaps and bounds, and happiness is assured".

It's time to heal our pains, our deep-seeded fears and destructive anger, so that we can live our individual lives as a collective force for the "Greater Good". It's time people, it's time -- the planet is in a healing dynamic and if you fail to synchronize yourself with it, by healing the pains of the past, your anger will consume and destroy you. That is why there is so much physical illness in the world.

It's simply time to choose to rise above or be consumed.

Black People, I Challenge You . . .

Have you ever heard that what you put out into the Universe comes back to you? Or perhaps the way you heard went like this:

"Be careful what you say, words are powerful"

Be careful what you say -- because the Universe will deliver exactly what we speak to her, to the front door our lives.

If words are power and will yield whatever we utter -- consider this: if everyday of your life you are talking about and blaming racism as the reason for what ails your life. Would it not stand to reason that if, the concept of "words are powerful" is true then it means that, you and you alone, calls all of your so-called racist experiences to your life.

Now lets consider the many times within a day that you personally mention racism in any form. As of July 1, 2006 the US Census Bureau estimated approximately 40.2 million African Americans in the US. I have subtracted 20% from this group, which represents the black folk that do not suffer from the "it's everybody else's fault" mental disorder, which leaves us with an exact number of 32.4 million black people that must heal themselves from this condition, or they will perish in it (but not fast enough, to prevent being a societal detriment).

Now let's return back to the "words are powerful" concept, if every day 32.4 million black folk decried racism just 4 times a day (and we know its more than that), that would be the equivalent of telling the Universe 1,296,000,000 (one billion, two-hundred ninety-six million times - this represents just one day) that you want racism in your lives, so please deliver it -- and so She does, she sends you all the people on the other side of your reality that is in the same mental and emotional condition as you, so that the two of you can impulse each other.

This dynamic plays out both individually and collectively, and as long as your "racism" mantra continues, you will continue to call your emotional co-dependants to you, through out your lifetime. Until you get tired of your reality and change your thought process, so that your life can change -- or not!

My point is if you feel you are "embattled" with "racist" experiences, why not stop calling them to you, by ceasing to call everything you care not to deal with "racist".

By now your saying, "racism isn't going to go away because I stop talking about it". Logically, the only way to prove that is to do it. Which is the only way to obtain the data required to do a comparative analysis that will allow you to logically confirm or reject my findings. Outside of that you're just functioning in pure "fight or flight" mode -- based on nothing but unresolved emotional trauma, so I challenge you to prove me wrong.

The Challenge:
For the next 30-days do not mention the word racist or racism.

  • Do not call anyone racist (verbally or mentally)
  • Do not go on the "black man's blues" rant (and don't listen to it either)
  • Do not claim that "they are trying to destroy the black male" (they are doing a fine job all by themselves, and you know it)
  • Do not converse with someone on a "racist rant" (they will lower your energy field, like vampires -- because misery loves company)

TIPS:

  • Keep a pocket calendar and every time you catch your "racist rants" jot it down. At the end of the week total the number. This number will reflect the many times you could have uttered something positive into the Universe -- and received something positive in return.
  • Journal your experience (and an experience it will be), write down all the things you feel about taking this challenge, the changes you see in yourself and those around you.
There are no external solutions -- all solutions reside within us -- if you really want change, YOU must BE the change. Now the question gets to be: do you have the mental fortitude to raise your own mental and emotional vibration, so that YOU can create a better life for yourself -- or will you continue to render yourself powerless by erroneously thinking, someone else is responsible for your happiness?

Are You Up For The Change Challenge?

PS. Remember:
Drink more water, you'll feel better.
If you don't control your own mind, someone else will control it for you.

Love Ya!

Black folk are not mad about slavery

My theory about black folk pretending to be "mad" about slavery is this: the average black person has not read "a" book, chapter or paragraph about slavery, and if their life depended on it they could not tell you when it began, why it began or if it really happened, based on any knowledge they possess in reference to it.

However, since it is used as the number one reason why black folk "cannot" do "anything". It would stand to reason that if one were going to use slavery as the reason why all that ails them, ails them, an intelligent person would at minimum be profoundly astute in the subject matter -- wouldn't you think?

A logical person would be able to match up every condition of their life with the chronology of slavery, in order to prove their case -- that is, if indeed "slavery" is the "game" used as to why everyone else is suppose to do for you, while you do nothing for yourselves. Right?

I surmise that "black folk" don't have a problem with having been enslaved in and of itself, at all -- the problem is that black folk are pissed off because they can't remain slaves. Why?

Because as a slave, you do not have too:

Wake yourself up in the morning
Find and maintain shelter
Supply your own food
Think for yourself
Get a job and keep it
Be educated
Educate yourself
Be responsible for your children
Know or use proper grammar skills

Do you get it? Doesn’t this sound "JUST" like black folks condition?

Black folk are pissed off because they do not want to change from their own mental state of slavery -- and that is where the "gimme, gimme and gimme more" destructive mindset comes from – because you want to stay in the pit of ignorance, because that has become your comfort zone.

And your anger with "white people" is because they won’t be your slave master and provide all of your “amenities”, like they used to do in the “good ole days”.

The other factor is that you want their approval, and you're not getting it, so what do you do? -- Lash out just like a child throwing a tantrum i.e. riots, picketing, and false uprisings* to try to get the attention from your mental slave master that YOU won't let go of.

How is that for a theory? Now I told you to hold on, perhaps you should get some seatbelts for you chair, because I haven't begun to touch the tip of the iceberg of my mind on this subject. It's going to get pretty hot in here -- because I am tired of the madness black people! So if you can't take it, too bad for you.

*Yes they're false uprisings -- how do we know? Because when blacks do it (whatever "it" is) you have nothing to say, it only matters if a "white person" is involved. That's called hypocrisy people, "church" didn't teach you better than that?

Why do "black folk" walk in the street?

I have a question to ask that I have wondered about since I was a child, and it is: Why do "black folk" walk in the street, instead of using the sidewalks. I am really perplexed by this behavior, especially when I know that if there were no sidewalks for "black folk" to use and "white folk" had sidewalks, there would be another "uprising" and a lot of grandstand "picketing" going on.

Because black folk would DEMAND to be treated the same way! Oh yes, you would. You just told yourself that I don't know what I'm talking about and "Black folk" don't walk in the street -- next you'll say they don't barbeque on the front porch and sidewalk, right?

I really am perplexed about this, because not only is it nonsensical but its very dangerous, and while I do have my own theory as to where this behavior is grounded it would be interesting to here from someone that does it. So if you care to elaborate, please do.

The (whore) House of Dereon - turning little girls out

Apparently daddy Knowles (as in Beyonce) has decided that since Beyonce has married a pimp then he probably won't have much control over her anymore, so the next best thing is to turn out all little girls so that they want to look like daddy's first prostitute. The following is my comment made on another blog:

". . . Beyonce just got married; I'm sure in a very short time she will be to emotionally screwed up (being that she's now married to a pimp) to think of ways to make babies look like whores.

Basically she was and is pimped out by her parents (and now her husband) and she clearly doesn't know any better -- because this has been her way of life -- all her life, but she will soon learn.

And mommy, is so caught up in competing with her daughter, by trying to look 24 herself that she clearly is irrational. I would imagine that the guilt of prostituting her daughter messes with her psyche. So in a sick convoluted way if she gets other "innocents" into the look of whoredom then it would somehow mean that what she has done to her own child is normal.

You know the concept; an addict wants to turn you into an addict, a drunk wants you to be drunk too -- otherwise when they look at you, you remind them of what they are doing to themselves.

Besides, Beyonce may have a big ass, but she is not the sharpest tool in the toolbox, and neither is mommy. Basically they have both been pimped out by daddy -- of which no one sees very often, I'm sure it's because he doesn't want it to look like he's the family pimp.

And when Beyonce’s big ass drops she too will be trapped in a holding pattern and spend the rest of her life trying to look 24 years old just like mommy. Unfortunately, in the mean time they will continue to pimp the babies – to ensure that their dynasty continues – just like the cigarette cartel, the drug cartel, the prostitution rings and so forth and so on . . . ."

But in all fairness to the Knowles family, it would stand to reason that if before the launching of the "Bootylicious Kids" campaign you did not have a problem with the very way Beyonce carries herself and you allowed your precious little girl's to watch her shake her naked rump -- then why would you have a problem with it now?

Because you would have to know, that your precious one is going to want to look and act like Beyonce and all the other women that have chosen to prostitute themselves to the industry. Were you telling your daughter that the way Beyonce acts is not acceptable . . . or were you shaking and grinding right along with her?

And as you can see from the above ads, the Knowles family is not prejudiced -- it's all about the equal opportunity to turn everybody’s daughter out. From the Americas to Japan!

And just in case you haven't noticed "The House of Dereon" sounds like the name of a "Whore House".

The verdict: The Knowles family Is Black Enough.

The Hip Hop Massacre Movie

This low budget but completely accurate film should be seen by all black folk.
